Last week, FIBIC team had the honor of engaging in significant dialogues with two influential industry associations in Shenzhen. This collaboration is geared toward fostering Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from China into Vietnam's thriving industrial landscape. Here is a closer look at the first leg of our trip.
Our first engagement was with the Shenzhen Industry Convergence Promotion Association, where FIBIC held a discussion with association leaders, providing an overview of Vietnam’s dynamic investment environment. We shared updates on Vietnam’s FDI landscape and the industrial real estate market, highlighting opportunities for Chinese businesses seeking expansion into Vietnam.
A major highlight of the meeting was the signing of an MOU for strategic cooperation. This agreement formalizes our commitment to supporting Chinese companies entering the Vietnamese market, with a focus on strategic activities to foster investment.
In a milestone event, we officially launched the Vietnam Industrial Park Guidebook, an essential tool for investors. This guidebook will serve as a detailed reference for navigating Vietnam's industrial landscape, offering in-depth insights into industrial park options, logistics, and regional advantages for new projects. This was a special collaboration between FIBIC and Shenzhen Industry Convergence Promotion Association, Hong Kong Technology Innovation & Integration Association, Vietnam Industrial Zone Portal.
This launch positions FIBIC as a go-to partner for any business interested in Vietnam’s industrial sector.

Following the official activities, we exchanged gifts as a token of friendship and trust, then continued with an evening of networking over dinner. This was a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships and set the stage for productive cooperation between FIBIC and Chinese industry leaders.
On Oct 23rd morning, our team visited the office of Shenzhen Smart Terminal Industry Association. With the support and guidance of relevant departments in Shenzhen, the Association is composed of big names such as Huawei Technologies , ZTE Corporation, Shenzhen Konka Communication Technology, Shenzhen Skyworth RGB Electronics, Huike, Shenzhen Guanghetong Wireless, etc. It was initiated by eight well-known enterprises in the industry and officially established in July 2023 with the approval of the Shenzhen Social Organization Management Bureau. Currently, it has more than 300 member enterprises.
FIBIC also held a discussion with the association leaders, providing an overview of Vietnam’s dynamic investment environment, Vietnam’s FDI landscape and the industrial real estate market.
On August 3rd, Taseco Real Estate Investment Corporation, a subsidiary of Taseco Group, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the "Construction and Infrastructure Business of Đồng Văn 3 Support Industrial Park," located east of the Cầu Giẽ - Ninh Bình expressway. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyễn Tường Văn, Hà Nam's Deputy Secretary Đinh Thị Lụa, Provincial Chairman Trương Quốc Huy, and 500 distinguished guests.

Vietnam Sunergy Wafer, a Japan-invested solar cell manufacturer, is set to begin production at its $30 million factory in Hung Yen province this June.
