On July 31, 2024, the topping-out ceremony for the MCC Vietnam Factory was held at Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park, Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam. The event took place in a formal and celebratory atmosphere, with the participation of representatives from the investor, the project team, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers involved in the development process.
This ceremony marked an important milestone after more than seven months of intensive construction, reflecting the strong coordination, discipline, and effort that brought the project to this stage. More than a construction checkpoint, the topping-out ceremony represented the progress of a project with significance not only for the investor, but also for the development of the semiconductor and electronics ecosystem in Northern Vietnam.

For this event, FIBIC was honored to be in charged of the event execution and program coordination, working closely with the relevant parties to help deliver a ceremony that was formal, well-organized, and aligned with the importance of the occasion.
MCC is one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of semiconductor materials, with headquarters in Semi Valley, California, and offices in Germany, Mexico, Singapore, and China. Its products and services are present in more than 20 countries and regions, serving over 35,000 customers worldwide.

In 2023, MCC selected Vietnam as its seventh manufacturing destination as part of its global expansion strategy. The MCC Vietnam factory focuses on the production and assembly of semiconductor-related equipment, including products related to optoelectronics, surface mounting, and signal applications, serving global customers such as Huawei, BYD, Philips, and Sony.
The project is also notable as the second semiconductor component manufacturing project in Bac Ninh Province, giving it added importance within one of Northern Vietnam’s most strategic industrial regions.
In industrial construction, a topping-out ceremony is not simply a formal occasion. It is a visible confirmation that the project has reached a major structural milestone and that construction is progressing in line with expectations.
For investors, contractors, and stakeholders, such a ceremony reflects more than schedule progress. It signals confidence in the project’s implementation, showcases the capability of the teams involved, and creates an important moment of recognition for the people contributing to the development.
In the case of the MCC Vietnam Factory Project, the topping-out ceremony also carried additional weight because the project sits within the semiconductor sector, an industry increasingly associated with strategic investment, advanced manufacturing, and long-term supply chain development in Vietnam.
Unlike standard corporate events, milestone ceremonies at factory and industrial projects require a stronger balance between formality, safety, protocol, and real-site conditions.

The event environment is still part of an active construction site, which means the program must be planned with close attention to guest movement, ceremony flow, safety considerations, and visual presentation. At the same time, the event still needs to deliver the right tone, one that reflects professionalism, progress, and the importance of the milestone being celebrated.
That is why ceremonies of this kind require more than basic event setup. They require practical coordination and a clear understanding of both event execution and industrial project context.
For the MCC Vietnam topping-out ceremony, FIBIC was in charged of the execution and coordination of the event program, helping ensure that the ceremony was carried out in a structured, respectful, and professionally managed manner.
Working alongside the relevant project stakeholders, the focus was placed on building a clear event flow, supporting the ceremony atmosphere, and helping the event run smoothly on-site while respecting the environment and significance of the project milestone.
Key components of the event execution included:
Overall coordination of the ceremony layout and event space
Preparation of the stage, backdrop, and key technical elements
Guest reception and support for participant movement on site
Coordination of the ceremony program and event flow
On-site operational support in line with the agreed schedule
Through careful preparation and close collaboration among the involved parties, the event was delivered in a way that reflected the significance of the milestone and created a professional experience for attending guests and stakeholders.
After more than seven months of focused construction, the project officially reached its topping-out milestone and was highly appreciated by the investor in terms of safety, quality, and progress.

During the event, Mr. Tran Nhuan Sinh, Chairman of Yangzhou Jieyang Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., China, representing the investor, expressed appreciation for the efforts, cooperation, and professionalism demonstrated throughout the implementation process. He also acknowledged the proactive and flexible approach that helped maintain control over both quality and schedule.
This recognition added further meaning to the ceremony, as it reflected not only the completion of a structural stage, but also the trust and confidence built during the project delivery process.
The successful delivery of a milestone event such as the MCC Vietnam Factory topping-out ceremony further reflects FIBIC’s ability to support events connected to the industrial, manufacturing, and high-tech sectors.
For projects of this nature, event execution is not only about making the ceremony look organized. It is about understanding the context of the project, respecting the importance of the milestone, and helping create a program that communicates progress, professionalism, and confidence to everyone present..
